بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
ن وَالْقَلَمِ وَمَا يَسْطُرُونَ (1) مَا أَنْتَ بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ بِمَجْنُونٍ (2) وَإِنَّ لَكَ لَأَجْرًا غَيْرَ مَمْنُونٍ (3) وَإِنَّكَ لَعَلَى خُلُقٍ عَظِيمٍ (4) فَسَتُبْصِرُ وَيُبْصِرُونَ (5) بِأَيِّكُمُ الْمَفْتُونُ (6) إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَنْ ضَلَّ عَنْ سَبِيلِهِ وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِالْمُهْتَدِينَ (7) فَلَا تُطِعِ الْمُكَذِّبِينَ (8) وَدُّوا لَوْ تُدْهِنُ فَيُدْهِنُونَ (9) وَلَا تُطِعْ كُلَّ حَلَّافٍ مَهِينٍ (10) هَمَّازٍ مَشَّاءٍ بِنَمِيمٍ (11) مَنَّاعٍ لِلْخَيْرِ مُعْتَدٍ أَثِيمٍ (12) عُتُلٍّ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ زَنِيمٍ (13) أَنْ كَانَ ذَا مَالٍ وَبَنِينَ (14) إِذَا تُتْلَى عَلَيْهِ آيَاتُنَا قَالَ أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ (15) سَنَسِمُهُ عَلَى الْخُرْطُومِ (16) إِنَّا بَلَوْنَاهُمْ كَمَا بَلَوْنَا أَصْحَابَ الْجَنَّةِ إِذْ أَقْسَمُوا لَيَصْرِمُنَّهَا مُصْبِحِينَ (17) وَلَا يَسْتَثْنُونَ (18) فَطَافَ عَلَيْهَا طَائِفٌ مِنْ رَبِّكَ وَهُمْ نَائِمُونَ (19) فَأَصْبَحَتْ كَالصَّرِيمِ (20) فَتَنَادَوْا مُصْبِحِينَ (21) أَنِ اغْدُوا عَلَى حَرْثِكُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَارِمِينَ (22) فَانْطَلَقُوا وَهُمْ يَتَخَافَتُونَ (23) أَنْ لَا يَدْخُلَنَّهَا الْيَوْمَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِسْكِينٌ (24) وَغَدَوْا عَلَى حَرْدٍ قَادِرِينَ (25) فَلَمَّا رَأَوْهَا قَالُوا إِنَّا لَضَالُّونَ (26) بَلْ نَحْنُ مَحْرُومُونَ (27) قَالَ أَوْسَطُهُمْ أَلَمْ أَقُلْ لَكُمْ لَوْلَا تُسَبِّحُونَ (28) قَالُوا سُبْحَانَ رَبِّنَا إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَالِمِينَ (29) فَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ يَتَلَاوَمُونَ (30) قَالُوا يَا وَيْلَنَا إِنَّا كُنَّا طَاغِينَ (31) عَسَى رَبُّنَا أَنْ يُبْدِلَنَا خَيْرًا مِنْهَا إِنَّا إِلَى رَبِّنَا رَاغِبُونَ (32) كَذَلِكَ الْعَذَابُ وَلَعَذَابُ الْآخِرَةِ أَكْبَرُ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ (33) إِنَّ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيمِ (34) أَفَنَجْعَلُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ كَالْمُجْرِمِينَ (35) مَا لَكُمْ كَيْفَ تَحْكُمُونَ (36) أَمْ لَكُمْ كِتَابٌ فِيهِ تَدْرُسُونَ (37) إِنَّ لَكُمْ فِيهِ لَمَا تَخَيَّرُونَ (38) أَمْ لَكُمْ أَيْمَانٌ عَلَيْنَا بَالِغَةٌ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ إِنَّ لَكُمْ لَمَا تَحْكُمُونَ (39) سَلْهُمْ أَيُّهُمْ بِذَلِكَ زَعِيمٌ (40) أَمْ لَهُمْ شُرَكَاءُ فَلْيَأْتُوا بِشُرَكَائِهِمْ إِنْ كَانُوا صَادِقِينَ (41) يَوْمَ يُكْشَفُ عَنْ سَاقٍ وَيُدْعَوْنَ إِلَى السُّجُودِ فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ (42) خَاشِعَةً أَبْصَارُهُمْ تَرْهَقُهُمْ ذِلَّةٌ وَقَدْ كَانُوا يُدْعَوْنَ إِلَى السُّجُودِ وَهُمْ سَالِمُونَ (43) فَذَرْنِي وَمَنْ يُكَذِّبُ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ سَنَسْتَدْرِجُهُمْ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ (44) وَأُمْلِي لَهُمْ إِنَّ كَيْدِي مَتِينٌ (45) أَمْ تَسْأَلُهُمْ أَجْرًا فَهُمْ مِنْ مَغْرَمٍ مُثْقَلُونَ (46) أَمْ عِنْدَهُمُ الْغَيْبُ فَهُمْ يَكْتُبُونَ (47) فَاصْبِرْ لِحُكْمِ رَبِّكَ وَلَا تَكُنْ كَصَاحِبِ الْحُوتِ إِذْ نَادَى وَهُوَ مَكْظُومٌ (48) لَوْلَا أَنْ تَدَارَكَهُ نِعْمَةٌ مِنْ رَبِّهِ لَنُبِذَ بِالْعَرَاءِ وَهُوَ مَذْمُومٌ (49) فَاجْتَبَاهُ رَبُّهُ فَجَعَلَهُ مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ (50) وَإِنْ يَكَادُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَيُزْلِقُونَكَ بِأَبْصَارِهِمْ لَمَّا سَمِعُوا الذِّكْرَ وَيَقُولُونَ إِنَّهُ لَمَجْنُونٌ (51) وَمَا هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌ لِلْعَالَمِينَ (52)
ن وَالْقَلَمِ وَمَا يَسْطُرُونَ (1) مَا أَنْتَ بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ بِمَجْنُونٍ (2) وَإِنَّ لَكَ لَأَجْرًا غَيْرَ مَمْنُونٍ (3) وَإِنَّكَ لَعَلَى خُلُقٍ عَظِيمٍ (4) فَسَتُبْصِرُ وَيُبْصِرُونَ (5) بِأَيِّكُمُ الْمَفْتُونُ (6) إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَنْ ضَلَّ عَنْ سَبِيلِهِ وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِالْمُهْتَدِينَ (7) فَلَا تُطِعِ الْمُكَذِّبِينَ (8) وَدُّوا لَوْ تُدْهِنُ فَيُدْهِنُونَ (9) وَلَا تُطِعْ كُلَّ حَلَّافٍ مَهِينٍ (10) هَمَّازٍ مَشَّاءٍ بِنَمِيمٍ (11) مَنَّاعٍ لِلْخَيْرِ مُعْتَدٍ أَثِيمٍ (12) عُتُلٍّ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ زَنِيمٍ (13) أَنْ كَانَ ذَا مَالٍ وَبَنِينَ (14) إِذَا تُتْلَى عَلَيْهِ آيَاتُنَا قَالَ أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ (15) سَنَسِمُهُ عَلَى الْخُرْطُومِ (16) إِنَّا بَلَوْنَاهُمْ كَمَا بَلَوْنَا أَصْحَابَ الْجَنَّةِ إِذْ أَقْسَمُوا لَيَصْرِمُنَّهَا مُصْبِحِينَ (17) وَلَا يَسْتَثْنُونَ (18) فَطَافَ عَلَيْهَا طَائِفٌ مِنْ رَبِّكَ وَهُمْ نَائِمُونَ (19) فَأَصْبَحَتْ كَالصَّرِيمِ (20) فَتَنَادَوْا مُصْبِحِينَ (21) أَنِ اغْدُوا عَلَى حَرْثِكُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَارِمِينَ (22) فَانْطَلَقُوا وَهُمْ يَتَخَافَتُونَ (23) أَنْ لَا يَدْخُلَنَّهَا الْيَوْمَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِسْكِينٌ (24) وَغَدَوْا عَلَى حَرْدٍ قَادِرِينَ (25) فَلَمَّا رَأَوْهَا قَالُوا إِنَّا لَضَالُّونَ (26) بَلْ نَحْنُ مَحْرُومُونَ (27) قَالَ أَوْسَطُهُمْ أَلَمْ أَقُلْ لَكُمْ لَوْلَا تُسَبِّحُونَ (28) قَالُوا سُبْحَانَ رَبِّنَا إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَالِمِينَ (29) فَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ يَتَلَاوَمُونَ (30) قَالُوا يَا وَيْلَنَا إِنَّا كُنَّا طَاغِينَ (31) عَسَى رَبُّنَا أَنْ يُبْدِلَنَا خَيْرًا مِنْهَا إِنَّا إِلَى رَبِّنَا رَاغِبُونَ (32) كَذَلِكَ الْعَذَابُ وَلَعَذَابُ الْآخِرَةِ أَكْبَرُ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ (33) إِنَّ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيمِ (34) أَفَنَجْعَلُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ كَالْمُجْرِمِينَ (35) مَا لَكُمْ كَيْفَ تَحْكُمُونَ (36) أَمْ لَكُمْ كِتَابٌ فِيهِ تَدْرُسُونَ (37) إِنَّ لَكُمْ فِيهِ لَمَا تَخَيَّرُونَ (38) أَمْ لَكُمْ أَيْمَانٌ عَلَيْنَا بَالِغَةٌ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ إِنَّ لَكُمْ لَمَا تَحْكُمُونَ (39) سَلْهُمْ أَيُّهُمْ بِذَلِكَ زَعِيمٌ (40) أَمْ لَهُمْ شُرَكَاءُ فَلْيَأْتُوا بِشُرَكَائِهِمْ إِنْ كَانُوا صَادِقِينَ (41) يَوْمَ يُكْشَفُ عَنْ سَاقٍ وَيُدْعَوْنَ إِلَى السُّجُودِ فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ (42) خَاشِعَةً أَبْصَارُهُمْ تَرْهَقُهُمْ ذِلَّةٌ وَقَدْ كَانُوا يُدْعَوْنَ إِلَى السُّجُودِ وَهُمْ سَالِمُونَ (43) فَذَرْنِي وَمَنْ يُكَذِّبُ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ سَنَسْتَدْرِجُهُمْ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ (44) وَأُمْلِي لَهُمْ إِنَّ كَيْدِي مَتِينٌ (45) أَمْ تَسْأَلُهُمْ أَجْرًا فَهُمْ مِنْ مَغْرَمٍ مُثْقَلُونَ (46) أَمْ عِنْدَهُمُ الْغَيْبُ فَهُمْ يَكْتُبُونَ (47) فَاصْبِرْ لِحُكْمِ رَبِّكَ وَلَا تَكُنْ كَصَاحِبِ الْحُوتِ إِذْ نَادَى وَهُوَ مَكْظُومٌ (48) لَوْلَا أَنْ تَدَارَكَهُ نِعْمَةٌ مِنْ رَبِّهِ لَنُبِذَ بِالْعَرَاءِ وَهُوَ مَذْمُومٌ (49) فَاجْتَبَاهُ رَبُّهُ فَجَعَلَهُ مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ (50) وَإِنْ يَكَادُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَيُزْلِقُونَكَ بِأَبْصَارِهِمْ لَمَّا سَمِعُوا الذِّكْرَ وَيَقُولُونَ إِنَّهُ لَمَجْنُونٌ (51) وَمَا هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌ لِلْعَالَمِينَ (52)

ن والقلم وما يسطرون (1) ما أنت بنعمة ربك بمجنون (2) وإن لك لأجرا غير ممنون (3) وإنك لعلى خلق عظيم (4) فستبصر ويبصرون (5) بأيكم المفتون (6) إن ربك هو أعلم بمن ضل عن سبيله وهو أعلم بالمهتدين (7) فلا تطع المكذبين (8) ودوا لو تدهن فيدهنون (9) ولا تطع كل حلاف مهين (10) هماز مشاء بنميم (11) مناع للخير معتد أثيم (12) عتل بعد ذلك زنيم (13) أن كان ذا مال وبنين (14) إذا تتلى عليه آياتنا قال أساطير الأولين (15) سنسمه على الخرطوم (16) إنا بلوناهم كما بلونا أصحاب الجنة إذ أقسموا ليصرمنها مصبحين (17) ولا يستثنون (18) فطاف عليها طائف من ربك وهم نائمون (19) فأصبحت كالصريم (20) فتنادوا مصبحين (21) أن اغدوا على حرثكم إن كنتم صارمين (22) فانطلقوا وهم يتخافتون (23) أن لا يدخلنها اليوم عليكم مسكين (24) وغدوا على حرد قادرين (25) فلما رأوها قالوا إنا لضالون (26) بل نحن محرومون (27) قال أوسطهم ألم أقل لكم لولا تسبحون (28) قالوا سبحان ربنا إنا كنا ظالمين (29) فأقبل بعضهم على بعض يتلاومون (30) قالوا يا ويلنا إنا كنا طاغين (31) عسى ربنا أن يبدلنا خيرا منها إنا إلى ربنا راغبون (32) كذلك العذاب ولعذاب الآخرة أكبر لو كانوا يعلمون (33) إن للمتقين عند ربهم جنات النعيم (34) أفنجعل المسلمين كالمجرمين (35) ما لكم كيف تحكمون (36) أم لكم كتاب فيه تدرسون (37) إن لكم فيه لما تخيرون (38) أم لكم أيمان علينا بالغة إلى يوم القيامة إن لكم لما تحكمون (39) سلهم أيهم بذلك زعيم (40) أم لهم شركاء فليأتوا بشركائهم إن كانوا صادقين (41) يوم يكشف عن ساق ويدعون إلى السجود فلا يستطيعون (42) خاشعة أبصارهم ترهقهم ذلة وقد كانوا يدعون إلى السجود وهم سالمون (43) فذرني ومن يكذب بهذا الحديث سنستدرجهم من حيث لا يعلمون (44) وأملي لهم إن كيدي متين (45) أم تسألهم أجرا فهم من مغرم مثقلون (46) أم عندهم الغيب فهم يكتبون (47) فاصبر لحكم ربك ولا تكن كصاحب الحوت إذ نادى وهو مكظوم (48) لولا أن تداركه نعمة من ربه لنبذ بالعراء وهو مذموم (49) فاجتباه ربه فجعله من الصالحين (50) وإن يكاد الذين كفروا ليزلقونك بأبصارهم لما سمعوا الذكر ويقولون إنه لمجنون (51) وما هو إلا ذكر للعالمين (52)

Reading Surah The Pen in English
In the Name of Allah the Merciful the Most Merciful
[1] Noon By the Pen and that (the angels) write
[2] you are not because of the favor of your Lord mad
[3] Indeed there is an unfailing wage for you
[4] Surely you (Prophet Muhammad) are of a great morality
[5] You shall see and they will see
[6] which of you is the demented
[7] Indeed your Lord knows very well those who strayed from His Path and those who are guided
[8] Therefore do not obey those who belie
[9] they wish you would compromise then they would compromise
[10] And do not obey every mean swearer
[11] the backbiter who goes about slandering
[12] those who hinder good the guilty aggressor
[13] the crude of low character
[14] because he has wealth and sons
[15] When Our verses are recited to him he says: 'They are but fairytales of the ancients! '
[16] We shall mark him upon his nose!
[17] We have tried them as We tried the owners of the garden who had sworn that in the morning they would reap it
[18] without adding to their swearing (Allah willing InshaAllah)
[19] Then a visitation from your Lord came down upon it while they slept
[20] and in the morning it was if the garden had been reaped
[21] (Then) in the morning they called out to one another saying:
[22] 'Come out to your tillage if you want to reap! '
[23] And so they departed whispering to one another:
[24] 'No needy person shall set foot in it today '
[25] And they went out early determined in their resolve
[26] But when they saw it they said: 'We have surely gone astray
[27] No rather we have been prevented! '
[28] (Whereupon) the best among them said: 'Did I not say to you to exalt (Allah)? '
[29] 'Exaltations to Allah our Lord ' they said 'We were truly harmdoers '
[30] And they came blaming one another
[31] They said 'Woe to us truly we were insolent! '
[32] It may be that our Lord will give us better than it in exchange To our Lord we humbly turn '
[33] Such was their punishment But the punishment of the Everlasting Life is much greater if they but knew
[34] Surely the cautious shall have Gardens of Bliss with their Lord
[35] What shall We make those who are submissive like the wrongdoers?
[36] What is the matter with you then how do you judge?
[37] Or have you a Book from which you study
[38] surely in it you shall have whatever you choose!
[39] Or have you an oath from Us that stretches to the Day of Resurrection (if so) you shall surely have what you judge!
[40] Ask them which of them will guarantee that!
[41] Or do they have associates? Then let them bring their associates if what they say is true!
[42] On the Day when the leg shall be bared and they are ordered to prostrate themselves they will be unable
[43] Their eyes will be humbled and humiliation shall spread over them for they were already ordered to prostrate themselves when they were undiminished
[44] Therefore leave Me with he who belied this discourse We will draw them on little by little from where they do not know
[45] I shall respite them My stratagem is firm
[46] Or do you ask them for a wage so that they are burdened with debt?
[47] Or is the Unseen with them and they are writing it down!
[48] So be patient with the judgement of your Lord and do not be like the Companion of the Whale (Jonah) when he called out choking inwardly
[49] Had the favor of his Lord not come upon him he would have been blamed cast upon the shore
[50] But his Lord had chosen him and He placed him among the righteous
[51] When the unbelievers hear the Reminder they nearly strike you down with their glances and say: 'Surely he is mad! '
[52] But it is nothing other than a Reminder for all the worlds

[42] On the Day when the leg shall be bared and they are ordered to prostrate themselves they will be unable
[43] Their eyes will be humbled and humiliation shall spread over them for they were already ordered to prostrate themselves when they were undiminished
[44] Therefore leave Me with he who belied this discourse We will draw them on little by little from where they do not know
[45] I shall respite them My stratagem is firm
[46] Or do you ask them for a wage so that they are burdened with debt?
[47] Or is the Unseen with them and they are writing it down!
[48] So be patient with the judgement of your Lord and do not be like the Companion of the Whale (Jonah) when he called out choking inwardly
[49] Had the favor of his Lord not come upon him he would have been blamed cast upon the shore
[50] But his Lord had chosen him and He placed him among the righteous
[51] When the unbelievers hear the Reminder they nearly strike you down with their glances and say: 'Surely he is mad! '
[52] But it is nothing other than a Reminder for all the worlds
